State Energy Efficiency Administrator Competitive Procurement

In June 2023, the Rhode Island General Assembly passed legislation signed into law by Governor McKee requiring that the Office of Energy Resources issues a competitive procurement for a program administrator (PA) of the state’s electric and gas energy efficiency programming. The PA will be responsible for delivering energy efficiency services statewide.

The first phase in the procurement process, the Qualified List of Vendors Technical Review, is available through the Rhode Island Division of Purchases and will be available for vendor submissions until March 20, 2024. Questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted to the Division of Purchases’ eProcurement website, Ocean State Procures, by February 8^th.
