EC4: Climate-Buildings Workshop

Buildings contribute to greenhouse gas emissions across electric, transportation, thermal, and land use sectors. Our changing climate also impacts what we need from our buildings – increased frequency and severity of storms, increased temperatures and heat waves, and other changes mean that our buildings must be increasingly resilient to extreme weather.

Join the EC4 and the Green Buildings Advisory Committee on August 24th for a workshop focused on the nexus of climate and buildings. A panel of experts will discuss this interconnection, what we’ve done so far, and what future actions we should prioritize. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions and provide their thoughts. These discussions will directly inform the 2022 Update to the 2016 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Plan.

Wednesday, Aug. 24th from 1:00-2:30pm

No prior experience or knowledge is necessary – everyone who is interested is encouraged to attend! All sessions will be held virtually using Zoom, with call-in information available.
