Municipal Programs
Our Municipal Program provides the resources cities and towns need to plan out and execute on their clean energy visions, including technical, procurement, and financial assistance. By supporting Rhode Island communities in improving their facilities, we are enabling them to implement clean energy projects and lead the way in meeting the greenhouse gas emission reduction mandates established by the 2021 Act on Climate legislation.

Lead by Example Clean Energy Awards
The Lead by Example Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Rhode Island State agencies, quasi-public entities, public colleges and universities, municipalities, and school districts. These awards spotlight transformative programs and projects that have rendered measurable environmental and energy advancements.
