Solar Program

The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER), through its Lead by Example (LBE) Initiative, has been working with public entities for a number of years developing and implementing clean energy projects. Installing renewable energy, like solar panels, is an excellent way to generate clean electricity and offset electricity costs and reduce emissions at your facility.

This program provides technical assistance, procurement support, implementation oversight, and financial incentives to Rhode Island State Agencies to support the installation of solar panels on state facilities.

Eligible Entities: All Rhode Island State Agencies are eligible to apply and participate in this program, subject to availability of funds.
