Driving Rhode Island to Vehicle Electrification DRIVE EV is an electric vehicle (EV) rebate program administered by the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) to support adoption of electric vehicles by Rhode Island residents, small-businesses’, non-profits, and public sector entities.
DRIVE EV FLEET
Small-businesses’, non-profits, and public sector entities may submit an application(s) for up to five (5) vehicles every twenty-four (24) months. .Extra rebates per vehicle for applicants located in high-asthma municipalities.

E-Bike Rebates
The Erika Niedowski Memorial Electric Bicycle rebate helps increase access to electric bicycles, making them more affordable and accessible to Rhode Islanders. PowerUpRI Rebate
The PowerUpRI rebate program offers financial incentives for the purchase and installation of eligible EV supply equipment (commonly known as EV chargers) and any necessary electrical upgrades.

ChargeRI Program
The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) ChargeRI Program provides financial incentives for the purchase and installation of ENERGY STAR-certified EV charging equipment (EVSE) at eligible sites across Rhode Island. This program seeks to make energy-efficient, ENERGY STAR-certified EV charging infrastructure more accessible to Rhode Island residents, renters, businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, and communities by reducing upfront cost barriers to installation.
