Solar Consumer Protection

The Office of Energy Resources is working with stakeholders to implement the Residential Solar Energy Disclosure and Homeowner’s Bill of Rights Act.  New forms have been created for the Renewable Energy Growth Program.  The date that the new forms will go into effect is April 1, 2025.  Public comments will be accepted for each iteration of the net metering and REG forms that are created.  Please reach out to Katherine Ortiz Katherine.Ortiz.CTR@energy.ri.gov if you have any questions.
