New England Heat Pump Accelerator

Request for Information

OER is seeking comments on priorities and designs that should be considered for a variety of pilot programs to be funded through the New England Heat Pump Accelerator over the next several years. 

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input and suggestions about innovative applications of heat pump equipment and/or HVAC system designs that could help market transformation for, and widespread adoption of, heat pumps and heat pump water heaters in Rhode Island.

The deadline for this RFI has been extended to December 5, 2025, at midnight, ET. Please submit responses to energy.resources@energy.ri.gov. You must include "Accelerator State Grant RFI" in the subject line of the email.
